Oracle Cloud Front-End Developer

We are looking for an outstanding highly motivated and results oriented Javascript Front-End Developer to join the Oracle Database Tools team responsible for the innovative design and coding of web consoles. Our team builds the web based Cloud administrative consoles allowing users to purchase and manage their Database Cloud services such as the Autonomous Database service and the Database Migration service.  Come help us shape the future of cloud computing.

Job Description

As a member of the software development organization, you will be responsible for defining and implementing features from conception to completion and will be working closely with many global teams.

Responsibilities

•     Write well designed, testable and efficient code by using best software development practices
•     Create web user interfaces
•     Integrate data from various REST based back end services and databases
•     Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
•     Keep informed of emerging web technologies and industry trends
•     Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent

Requirements

• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript and React is required
• Knowledge of Node.js and Webpack is desirable
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Proven work experience in web programming
• Excellent programming skills and in depth knowledge of modern web technologies
• A solid foundation in object-oriented software design and development
• Experience with Oracle technologies an asset (WebLogic, Oracle  Database, Java)
• Experience working on Windows and Linux based environments

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
