The Miro Security Stream, under the guidance of our Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), is dedicated to safeguarding the security of Miro's platform and ensuring the utmost protection for our valued customers. Our primary focus is on fortifying both the information assets and the collaborative interactions that empower our customers' innovative endeavours.

The Security Stream operates within a structured framework, comprising several specialized teams, each playing a vital role in upholding our industry-leading security standards. These teams include the Product Security Team, which encompasses Cloud Security and Application Security experts. Furthermore, we have dedicated teams for Corporate Security, as well as Trust and Compliance. All these teams work cohesively to provide a holistic security approach.

About the Role

Seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our Cloud Security and Automation team. Your cloud and automation skills, combined with a passion for security, will shape our Cloud security and automation capabilities. Cloud native expertise is essential, given Miro's 100% cloud-based presence, and SaaS industry experience is a strong plus.

As a Cloud Security and Automation engineer, your primary focus will be to develop and execute strategies for increasing the security of our cloud platform and automate efforts to do this at scale while maintaining high compliance standards.

What you’ll do

• Propose, design, implement and maintain cloud and infrastructure-related security controls and solutions
• Perform security audits of the cloud, infrastructure and data security
• Perform a security review (architecture review, design review, code review) of the cloud, containers and infrastructure changes
• Work closely with DevOps/SRE teams to provide security expertise
• Build automation to perform security and compliance at scale in the cloud
• Oversee the monitoring of Cloud security posture, and ensuring vulnerabilities are managed properly while reducing risks in our Cloud configurations
• Conduct post-incident analysis to identify root causes, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvements

What you’ll need

• Experience in a Cloud native environment and automation
• Experience designing, implementing and managing security capabilities at scale
• AWS, IAC (Terraform) and automation (Python) experience
