Cruise is looking for a Supplier Quality Associate who can support the supplier warranty recovery program from the ground up. A person with the drive to develop and implement claims entry process, part reviews, and failure root cause categorization for a commercial Autonomous Vehicles (AV) fleet. The activities and initiatives that this person will drive are going to enable Cruise to recover warranty costs and scale its operation successfully.

What you’ll be doing:

• Collect information on warranty parts and submit claim entries into the system
• Set up parts and perform physical part reviews with suppliers, engineering, and relevant partners, record all observations and send out review minutes
• Determine root cause categories for failures based on review observations and supplier testing
• Collaborate with the cross-functional team internally within Cruise and with GM
• Ensure timely response for parts sent back to suppliers for testing
• Communicate manufacturing issues reported by the supplier to Cruise Field Engineering and QA team

What you must have:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3 years of experience in quality management
• Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
• Capability to adapt, operate, and act decisively in an ambiguous environment

Bonus points!

• Supplier Quality and/or Warranty Administration/Management experience
• Experience as a vehicle service technician
• Experience in advanced tech, automotive, industrial, or aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul
• Exposure to early-stage, high-growth companies
• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, or other relevant Engineering field

 

The salary range for this position is $91,900 - 135,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
