Job Description

Responsibilities:
Assists with creating and maintaining reports thorough job procedures. Inputs and maintains data on a Portfolio Management system and Brokerage Accounting system. Monitors daily reports and resolves discrepancies. Contributes feedback to overall improvement of the Portfolio Management and Brokerage Accounting systems and assists in implementing corrective actions as necessary. Promotes effective coordination between multiple workgroups in functional areas. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Produce, update, and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems. Tasks may include purchasing materials, entering budgetary information, and recording time and expenses.
Carry out operational tasks by following established processes. This will involve adjusting multiple settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
Prepare routine letters, memoranda, reports, and similar documents following detailed instruction. This is likely to involve using the full range of functions within standard office software.
Create, organize, and maintain files containing the correspondence and records of a senior colleague.
Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
Support others by working on a variety of data management tasks.
Develop working knowledge of the organization's policies and procedures and of regulatory codes and codes of conduct relevant to own work, adhering to mandatory procedures to ensure own work is undertaken to the required standards.
Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
Help manage internal client relationships by carrying out simple procedural tasks.
Carry out a range of customer service activities, including handling customer cases and inquiries that are more complex or outside the norm.
Organize own work schedule in order to get the job done, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary.
Help manage external client relationships by carrying out simple procedural tasks.

Skills:
Learning and applying new information, skills and processes quickly and providing comprehensive and objective analysis. Problem solving. Organization and attention to detail sufficient to prioritize multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced dynamically changing environment. Microsoft Office applications sufficient to produce documents, spreadsheets and email.
