POSITION TITLE:   Senior BIS Analyst, Reporting and Analytics

 

Position Summary:

The Senior BIS Analyst, Reporting & Analytics will play a critical role in advancing business intelligence, data quality, and strategic reporting initiatives across our Servicing organization. This individual will partner closely with business leaders to deliver high-impact, actionable insights that improve operational efficiency, support regulatory compliance, and enable informed decision-making. The Senior Analyst will also lead and contribute to key operational projects that drive performance and process improvement. As both a leader and individual contributor, this role requires the ability to analyze complex data sets, extract key insights, and influence leadership decisions through clear and compelling data storytelling.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in data analysis, BI tools, and performance reporting—along with the confidence to lead projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. They will serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, offering insights, challenging assumptions, and driving continuous improvement.

 

Job Functions and Responsibilities (streamlined):

  • Lead the development and delivery of operational, management, and regulatory reports across the business.
  • Drive key projects supporting Servicing operations, ensuring timely and actionable reporting deliverables.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define metrics, build dashboards, and deliver performance insights.
  • Analyze complex reports and datasets to surface trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to business leadership through clear presentations and visualizations.
  • Lead cross-functional data projects and analytics initiatives from planning to execution.
  • Maintain and enhance the internal and external reporting inventory in collaboration with Data Governance.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and identify improvement opportunities using data mining and statistical techniques.
  • Define KPIs and build reporting frameworks and decision-support tools.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on data interpretation, report optimization, and operational metrics.
  • Partner across business, compliance, and IT teams to ensure data quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Finance, Business Analytics, IT)
  • 4–6 years of experience in analytics, BI, or reporting roles—ideally within financial services or mortgage servicing
  • Proven experience leading data/reporting projects with business-facing deliverables
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses and relational databases
  • Proficient in BI and data visualization tools (e.g., MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and persuasively
  • Self-starter with strong project ownership, initiative, and follow-through
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

 

 

The salary range for this position is expected to be $80,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on geographic location, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for [bonus] [commissions] [long-term incentive compensation awards] based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
