Job Description: 

Accenture Federal Services has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and accomplished Senior Cloud Native Application Developer to join our team.  As a Cloud Native Application Developer, you will work closely with the other developers on the team to support business goals and to help ensure AFS products are released in a timely manner.  

Responsibilities include:

• Work to provide software development support to meet requirements set by the client
• Work in and Agile environment
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, and analyze open source application
• Translate software requirements into workable programming code and maintain and develop programs for use in business
• Review architecture, and select and integrate appropriate development and support tools to insure product performance
• Investigate, identify, and resolve code issues logged internally by QA, team members, or end users
• Develop and maintain documentation
• Keep Jira up-to-date with progress updates
• Perform knowledge transfer with team members as needed

Here's what you need:

• 10 years of technology experience and a Master's degree or 12 years of technology experience
• Experience with Cloud Native development using AWS
• Knowledge and experience with AWS cloud Architecture
• Experience with the software development life-cycle, including back-end web or API development
• Experience developing in an Agile enterprise development environment

Bonus points if you have:

• Knowledge and experience in DevOps tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins & More
• Experience with one or more of the following AWS offerings: Lambdas, DynamoDB, S3, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, RDS, etc.
• Experience with AWS cloud, infrastructure automation, testing, and optimizing workflow methodologies 
• Experience developing, debugging and/or refactoring code for popular programming languages, node/JavaScript, Python and/or other programming languages (goLang, Groovy)
• Knowledge and experience with CI/CD pipelines in Git
• Knowledge and experience with containerization and Docker
• Understanding of CloudFormation
• Experience with Bash scripting
• AWS Certified Developer
• Knowledge and experience with audio and video collections

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret security clearance required

Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.    

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role  

California: $122,600 - $198,800 

Colorado: $122,600 - $171,700 

New York City: $141,800 - $198,800

Washington: $160,500 - $182,800
