About the role

Good Party is looking for a growth and user obsessed Senior Product Manager or Principal Product Manager to join us in our mission of making people matter more than money in our democracy.

Good Party is a comprehensive platform powering the movement to make people matter more than money in our democracy.

Why?

Americans – especially young people – are losing faith in democracy. The rigged, two party system has turned “Independent” into a dirty word. Voters are trapped between choosing the lesser of two evils or sitting out elections altogether.

A majority of eligible voters (over 130M Americans), including more than half of Millennials and Gen Z, say that neither Republicans, nor Democrats represent them. But they keep getting re-elected! Whether you’re concerned about the environment, healthcare costs, wars, inequality, or our individual freedoms, many great solutions are held back by the dark doom-loop of dysfunctional partisan politics.

While mainstream media and the two major parties focus on federal elections (e.g. Congress and President), Good Party is building from the bottom up.  With over 500,000 elected offices in the United States, 70% of which are uncontested, we are powering a grassroots revolution to take back our communities from career politicians by helping real people run and win local and state level campaigns all across the country.

Good Party is founded and fully-funded by serial entrepreneur, Farhad Mohit, with over $1B in exits — Flipagram (now TikTok), Shopzilla, and BizRate.

How?

Good Party’s solution is to make it simple to run, win and serve. We offer free AI powered tools to help real people run and win elections, independent of partisan support or big money.  We train people to run for office and support candidates who take our pledge so they don’t have to sell out to the Democrats or Republicans, raise big money, or cow-tow to special interests. Our free AI Campaign Manager and team with 50+ years of campaign experience make running, winning and serving as an independent, people-powered anti-corruption candidate possible.

We’re also building a movement of bright, caring Americans who are ready to end this country's two-party political dysfunction. Our community’s collective power is being harnessed to elect the most promising independents around the country. By leveraging social media and creators, we’re making our mission to make people matter more than money mainstream.

What you’ll do:

  • Turn ideas into scalable product solutions that empower independents to explore a run for office, run winning campaigns, and serve in office.

  • Collaborate on product vision, strategy, and roadmap, the product team, and politics team stakeholders.

  • Create cohesive funnels that drive user adoption, growth, and unlock a viable path for independent candidates.

  • Draft requirements and create a roadmap for products with a bias toward efficiently getting to the design stage.

  • Leverage your passion for users to organize user research and testing across our politically diverse user base in collaboration with the design team

  • Apply quantitative and qualitative methods to validate ideas, learn from user interactions or feedback, and improve metrics on existing products.

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’re up for the audacious challenge of transforming our democracy by making running as an independent a viable path to getting elected into service. You’re very curious about this problem space or are already passionate about it.

  • You’re a proven A-player with a 5+ year track record of building tech products, with increasing responsibility and success. Title will be commensurate with experience.

  • You’ve either built something from scratch or were very early on a product that went from 0 or 0.5 to 1 (and beyond). You’re quick to pivot when the need arises or a better path emerges.

  • You’re analytical with a metrics mindset, plus you’ve got the data, optimization, and problem solving skills to ensure products meet their potential.

  • You’re exploring emerging Generative-AI tools and understand the basics of prompt engineering both to scale yourself and improve products and features.

  • You’re organized and prefer to work within lean and Kanban processes alongside design and development.

  • You love diving in to understand relevant products and figuring o
