Schedule

• Four 9-hour shifts and one 4-hour shift per week

• Start time: 7:45 AM

• One day per week: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Department

• Cardiology – Methodist Professional Centers

• High-volume practice serving approximately 120 patients per day

Preferred Experience

• Medical Assistant (MA) experience is preferred due to the fast-paced nature of the practice

Position Summary

This role supports the efficient operation of a busy cardiology practice by supervising office functions and team members. Responsibilities include oversight of transcription, scheduling, billing and collections, and medical records management.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and evaluate office staff

• Oversee daily operations including scheduling, billing, transcription, and records

• Ensure compliance with medical and administrative protocols

• Support physicians and staff in delivering high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required (or equivalent years of experience)

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting

• Prior experience in an office supervisory role is required

• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and advanced coding principles
