Job Description:

Are you ready to take on an exciting and pivotal role? As the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing, you'll lead and develop a high-performing sourcing team, craft and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies, and ensure our procurement process meets our cost, quality, and delivery goals. You'll have the opportunity to work across the entire supply chain, building and nurturing strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders. Join us and make a significant impact!

THE DAY TO DAY...

• Lead and develop a diverse team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement

• Provide mentorship and training to team members to enhance their skills and career growth

• Performs product and supplier segmentation to identify areas of strategic focus

• Develop  global supply industry models  and establish the market analysis for critical materials

• Lead the development of comprehensive sourcing strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives

• Foster collaboration across the organization to develop, socialize, and execute strategies

• Drives cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain to achieve financial targets

• Drive rigor in supplier management cadence inclusive of governance and relationship management

• Oversee the negotiation of supplier contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company

• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the sourcing function

• Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for cost savings

• Develop and manage procurement spend analytics to inform strategy, identify opportunities, and manage contract compliance

• Develop a strategic roadmap for the global sourcing function, outlining key technical initiatives and supply chain value creation goals

THE QUALIFICATIONS...

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field; master’s degree preferred

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management

• Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing and managing high-performing teams

• Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
