What you’ll do: 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern – Data Analyst, Software Asset Management 

Location: Newtown Square, PA (Hybrid, 3 days working from office)

Expected start date: January 2026

Contract Duration: 6 months

 

Data Analysis and Reporting 

  • Analyze and interpret Software Asset Management (SAM) data to identify trends, usage patterns, and compliance issues 
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards on SAM data 
  • Develop and automate reporting processes to streamline data analysis 

 

AI and Automation 

  • Develop and integrate AI-driven solutions 
  • Implement machine learning models to predict software usage, detect anomalies, and optimize license allocation 
  • Automate SAM processes using scripts, tools, and AI technologies 

 

Collaboration and Documentation 

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver information, resources, and best practices  
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices related to SAM 

 

What you bring: 

We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. 

  • Educational requirements  
    • Undergrad or graduate degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
    • Approval to work full-time (40 hours a week)   
    • Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
  • Position requirements  
    • Be onsite at Newtown Square office for at least three days a week  
  • Desired skills/experience to be successful in this role  
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
    • Proficient in SQL, Python, JAVA, JavaScript or NodeJS 
    • Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and AI concepts 
    • A team player, with a self-starter attitude and the ability to work with minimal direction 
    • Ability to synthesize and analyze large quantities of data, whilst showing a creative and pragmatic approach to problem solving 
    • Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile (nice to have)  
    • Any Knowledge/experience in SAP Finance and software asset management (nice to have) 
  • Qualifications for the role 
    • Experience in SW development using Git, GitHub in an agile team (nice to have)  
    • Experience in developing FIORI Apps or SAC (nice to have)
