VP, Finance (Financial Controls)

Position Summary

As the VP, Finance (Financial Controls) at Hex Trust, you will be part of the team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, timely and accurate calculation, verification and reporting of financials, and supporting the Company's strategic decisions. Note - Hex Trust is looking for 2 talented individuals to join the team as VP, Finance (Financial Controls)!

Duties & Responsibilities

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of financial records and transactions
• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly consolidated financial and regulatory reports
• Collaborate with other teams and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with HKFRS/ IFRS standards
• Facilitate Group and statutory financial audits
• Perform reconciliations of financial records against various data sources
• Support the Finance department with ad-hoc projects and initiatives
• Streamline financial processes and implement best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 4 to 5 years of experience in Audit, preferably from a top or 2nd tier CPA firm
• CPA certification is a strong plus, but not required. Hands-on experience with financial audits however is a must
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting controls
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working experience with diverse populations is preferred
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills
