What You’ll Do:

• Project Planning & Coordination
  • Lead the development of comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, budget, and resources for mechanical construction projects.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Review and approve project schedules, procurement plans, and construction documents.
  • Manage project startup, ensuring all resources (staff, equipment, materials) are allocated appropriately and project scope is well understood.
• Project Execution & Management
  • Oversee day-to-day management of the project, ensuring adherence to the timeline, budget, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate and monitor mechanical system installations (HVAC, plumbing, piping, etc.) and ensure compliance with project specifications and local building codes.
  • Resolve technical issues, address project challenges, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
  • Track and report on project progress making adjustments as necessary to ensure the project stays on course.
• Financial Management
  • Develop, manage, and control the project budget, ensuring that costs are tracked and that project financial goals are met.
  • Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and change orders, ensuring accuracy and alignment with contract terms.
  • Identify and manage project risks to avoid cost overruns and delays.
  • Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management, detailing project status and financial performance.
• Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field personnel, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Manager internal resources and external subcontractors to ensure timely and quality execution of the project.
  • Conduct regular site meetings, safety meetings, and project reviews to track progress, communicate updates, and address issues.
  • Provide performance feedback and professional development opportunities for team members.
• Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors throughout the project life cycle.
