 The Role

 

CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER

 

Interdependence PR is seeking a strategic and ambitious leader to lead the agency’s New Business, Marketing and Communications team to expand our unique offering to prospective agency clients.

 

This role will hold ultimate responsibility for managing the team, strategy, and execution for effectively growing our business through new client acquisition. The ideal candidate will oversee the new business team’s outbound lead generation efforts and new business pitch readiness activities.

 

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

 

Pipeline Creation and Conversion Rate Optimization:

 

● Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to expand our client pipeline and win!

● Identify new business opportunities, forge partnerships, and cultivate leads through targeted outreach efforts.

● Track, monitor and report the agency’s prospective client pipeline.

● Analyze and optimize the conversion funnel to maximize client acquisition and retention.

● Implement data-driven approaches to enhance conversion rates at each stage of the client journey.

 

Agency Pitch Readiness

 

● Draft new business RFI and RFP responses, in partnership with senior leadership.

● Maintain ownership of the agency pitch process and recommend ways to further improve.

● Maintain knowledge database of agency case studies and thought leadership.

 

Reputation Building

 

● Cultivate and strengthen the agency's reputation as a trusted partner and industry leader.

● Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand visibility, credibility, and thought leadership.

● Manage internal and external agency communications including PR releases, internal communication channels via Teams and email, and other essential communications.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES REQUIRED

 

● 10+ years’ experience in an agency or professional services firm environment.

● Strong persuasive writing abilities.

● Dynamic strategic planning abilities and the ability to compel senior leaders to invest in advertising to grow the business and attract new clients to the agency.

● Entrepreneurial spirit with strong attention to detail and winning attitude.

● Magnetic personality with an ability to energize staff to participate in growth activities.

● Travel domestically (10-15%).
