Our rapid growth, great team and lean organization make SAP Fioneer a great place to accelerate your career!</p> <p>For this role, you can choose to <strong>work remotely</strong> from any location in Germany, from one of our offices in Munich or Berlin, or a combination of the two, depending on your preferences.</p><p><strong>About the project</strong></p><p>SAP Fioneer is developing a new product called the Sustainable Finance Platform, which will enable the FSI players to tackle their end-to-end ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) challenges centrally across all units. The platform is built around a Sustainable Finance Workplace, consolidating holistic, integrated ESG applications, such as climate risk stress testing, ESG advisory, and emission management and steering. A database integrating external with internal ESG-related sources serves as the foundation. Together with financial industry players, we will jointly develop applications to serve their priorities, while also allowing them and their partners to integrate custom solutions on the platform.</p><p>Learn more about the product: <a href="https://www.sapfioneer.com/accelerating-esg-transformation/" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener">The challenge of sustainable sustainability: Accelerating ESG transformation - SAP Fioneer</a><br/></p> <p><strong>About you and the role</strong></p><p>We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with a passion for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) issues and a desire to make a positive impact on the world. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of professional experience in front- and backend development, with strong experience in languages such as Java, JavaScript and TypeScript.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include: </p><ul> <li>Lead the design and development of scalable, user-friendly full stack systems, which are critical to the success of our business</li> <li>Build the data product (incl. backend and frontend) ensuring that the code follows latest, high quality, well documented, and efficient coding standards, using modern design patterns and architectural principles</li> <li>Contribute to the technical direction and architecture of our full stack systems by supporting the product owners in defining future stories and defining technical designs </li> <li>Design and develop business logic and backend systems of the MVP experience as well as write unit, integration tests and functional automation</li> <li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions that drive our growth. Apart from that, you will mentor and guide junior team members in best practices for full stack development</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will have:</p><ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience in full stack development, ideally with expertise in financial services industry with focus on banking products</li> <li>Familiarity with agile developments and team settings</li> <li>At least 3 years experience in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience in using frameworks as VUE.js, Next.js or React and deep knowledge of Java backend frameworks as SPRING, Hibernate etc.</li> <li>Experience with microservices architecture, containerization technologies, responsive design and cross-browser compatibility</li> <li>Knowledge of testing frameworks – unit, integration, and automation testing</li> <li>Proficiency in using SQL databases, MVC frameworks and web frameworks (e.g., Express, Next.js, Spring etc.)</li> <li>Work experience of code refactoring, design patters, design-driven development, continuous deployment, and highly scalable applications</li> <li>Enthusiasm to learn new technologies and strive towards cross-functional development </li> <li>Excitement about impact of emerging / disruptive technologies </li> <li>Sound problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly process complex information</li> <li>Excellent collaboration skills in English (optional German)</li> <li>Passion for ESG topics</li> <li>Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in STEM</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits
