<p>Design Enablement is a central technology development organization within NXP which defines and supports NXP hardware design methodologies and EDA tools enabling differentiation for NXP IP/SOC development.</p><p>The NXP Toulouse center is looking for an experienced CAD / IT Design Support Engineer. </p><p>Be part of NXP Design Enablement (DE) global team as CAD / IT Application Engineer, will provide to the candidate the opportunities:</p><ul><li><p>Develop an efficient and secure design environment for all NXP IP/SOC design centers.</p></li><li><p>Support deployment of secure design environment across all regions</p></li><li><p>Develop new solutions to automate design environment enabling NXP IP/SOC teams efficiency with R&amp;D IT or EDA vendors partnership.</p></li><li><p>Work within a multi-cultural worldwide environment with all NXP design organizations </p></li><li><p>Part of a global worldwide team with experts recognized as technical leaders in this unique and competitive domain.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Do you want to work in an exciting company that is at the heart of innovation?</p><p></p><p>Join us and learn something new every day !</p><p></p><p></p><h1>Your responsibilities</h1><ul><li><p>Support design infrastructures within Linux and Windows and develop environment playbooks for multiple regional design teams</p></li><li><p>Support migration to the Cloud platform</p></li><li><p>Implement automation for EDA or NXP tools with standard configuration and setup.</p></li><li><p>Be primary contact for EDA tools support</p></li><li><p>Partners with R&amp;D IT developing new methodology and setup to improve IP/SOC access control through Unix Group, Unix Access or DesignSync Access Control File</p></li><li><p>Develop or optimize solutions to optimize LSF farm usage (CPU and Memory)</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with EDA vendors and internal tool teams with training, tracking and resolution of issues</p></li><li><p>Create technical documentation for procedures and flows</p></li><li><p>Work within a global CAD organization</p></li><li><p>Work with multidisciplinary teams</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><h1>Your profile</h1><ul><li><p>Masterlevel, with minimum 5 years experience as EDA CAD support or IT data center Linux storage / farm administrator for IP/SOC circuit development or IT Data Management engineer (DesignSync)</p></li><li><p>Working Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software: Linux (RedHat), Windows OS and Load Sharing Facility (LSF)Working knowledge of  data management tools: DesignSync, Enovia PLM</p></li><li><p>Strict towards performance and quality requirements</p></li><li><p>Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills</p></li><li><p>Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills</p></li><li><p>Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>Collaborative skills for working efficiently in a team having worldwide connections with partners and users.</p></li><li><p>Self-driven and passionate about learning and the industry</p></li><li><p>Highly developed verbal and written communication skills in English</p></li><li><p>Experience working on automation of regression test sets</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><a href="https://www.nxp.com/company/about-nxp/worldwide-locations/france:FRANCE" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">More information about NXP in France...</a></p>
