Job Details

Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager; coordinates registration, scheduling, clearance and billing of all patient therapy appointments using electronic systems. Supervises the procedures of first time and reoccurring patients arriving for appointments. Ensures Administrative staff scans in correct documents in appropriate places and records. Complies with HR Manual in the supervision of Administrative staff and complies with all policy and procedures for department by being an active supervisor. Manages the HealthPay system and collection of monies and verifies all batches are received and closed by end of business day. Responsible for all aspects of facility communications including monitoring the answering of phone calls and e-mails. Ensures timely responses to Medicare & Fiscal requests, Financial Month End activities, and Monthly denial responses. Responsible to stay abreast of insurance requirements related to facility services. Completes timekeeper responsibilities for supervised positions as well as coordinates coverage for supervised sites. Coordinates as needed with facility Clinical Managers to resolve operational issues. Attends facility staff meetings, and holds bi-weekly admin staff meetings with documented updates.

Job Description

Required: Associates Degree and supervisory experience required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, previous healthcare experience including healthcare information systems, excellent computer skills using Windows products and ADT experience preferred. Previous experience with electronic telephone confirmations, scheduling, registration, customer service skills and cash collection required.
