About the role

Overview
As a Mental Health Partial (MHP) Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting children and youth with autism, intellectual disabilities, and behavioral health challenges. Working within a school-based therapeutic setting, you’ll help implement treatment plans, provide behavioral interventions, and serve as a bridge between clinical and educational teams. Your work will directly contribute to helping individuals become more independent, self-reliant, and valued members of their community.
What You’ll Bring
• A Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related clinical field.
• 3+ years of experience working in mental health or behavioral support settings.
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to recognize when to escalate concerns.
• Comfort with providing constructive feedback and encouraging professional growth.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with families, therapists, educators, and support staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant technologies.
• A positive attitude, resilience in challenging situations, and strong multitasking skills.

A Typical Day May Include
• Coordinating with teachers and clinical staff to create and implement a therapeutic daily schedule.
• Leading two social skills development groups for assigned clients.
• Providing hands-on support in the classroom, including crisis intervention when needed.
• Monitoring client progress, documenting daily notes, and preparing reports for treatment reviews.
• Communicating updates and concerns to the clinical team and ensuring consistent implementation of treatment strategies.
• Supporting classroom staff with training and guidance on therapeutic techniques.
• Assisting with data collection for functional assessments and reporting health or psychiatric concerns.
