Senior Technical Consultant with German (Cobol) Job

<p>Who we are<br/>  <br/> We provide 2nd and 3rd Level Support for critical and non-critical applications in the automotive production industry for a major automotive company. The purpose is to maintain, control and support the applications in the production lines.The Job consists in supporting the Mainframe part of a mixed technology Application in the logistics area in the automotive industry.</p> <p> </p> <p>What you'll be doing<br/>  </p> <ul> <li>Daily tasks: working with the processes of the customer (Incident, Problem, Change Management) </li> <li>Communication and strong cooperation with the users and the customer </li> <li>Daily meetings with the team, occasional meetings with the customer</li> <li>Occasionally optimizing and configuration of the application</li> <li>Performing root cause analysis and problem analysis</li> <li>Performing Source Code Analysis</li> <li>Administration of the tasks, cronjobs for the application</li> <li>Creating and continuously maintaining the documentation</li> </ul> <p> <br/> What you;ll bring along</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in technical field would be nice to have</li> <li>Minimun 3-5 years of experience within application management or development field</li> <li>Experience with COBOL and DB2 </li> <li>Strong problem solving and research skills </li> <li>Promptitude, proactivity and customer-oriented mindset </li> <li>ITIL Certification would represent a plus</li> <li>Excellent command of both spoken and written English and German</li> </ul>
