What You Will Do

• Candidate will be trained on the process and procedures of doing CAD work for drawings going into TSIMS. 

• Will be trained and responsible for performing work ups on TSIMS.

• Will be trained on how to do ship checks for TSIMS. May be required to travel for 2 to 3 weeks at a time with some international travel aboard ships.

• Will be trained to review engineering documentation, reports, specifications, and drawings to determine documentation and material requirements, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and to ensure engineering orders reflect latest requirements.

• Notifies appropriate departments of any new or updated data. Maintains audit trails.

• Researches and resolves inconsistencies with design, production, material, or program office.

What You Must Have

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 0 years experience.

• Must be willing to travel and go aboard ships. 

• Experience with Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, or Outlook.

• Must be able to work well in team environments.

• Must be a US citizen. 

Physical Requirements

• Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.

• Shipboard work may require the ability to climb and descend shipboard ladders and to stand for extended periods.
