Maintenance Mechanic - Facilities Management - 1.0 FTE (40 hours a week)

The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of general, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, corrective and preventive maintenance as well as inspections, servicing, and the overhaul of equipment within the hospital, Skilled Nursing Facility, Clinic and satellite clinic. Assembles, installs and mounts equipment and performs necessary duties to maintain buildings and grounds. Must be self motivated and able to accept total department responsibility in the absence of the department director.
Minimum Education Required: Experience in HVAC/Electrical preferred, Boiler Certification required or obtained within two years of employment.
Minimum Related Years of Experience (per minimum education) Required: Three years related experience, strong mechanical, electrical and plumbing aptitude.
Credential/Licensure Required: Valid drivers license.
Shift: Working 40 hours a week, with rotating weekends and holidays. Must be able to respond within 30 minutes for emergency calls when on call.
