Job Title: Training Support Specialist (ADFSD)
Essential Job Functions:
- Support the Field Services and Sling Load training sites by maintaining a Training Support Specialist to Site ratio of 3:2 for two (2) sites.
- Support daily operation, maintenance and accountability of all equipment, facilities and supplies used in support of, and associated with the 92R (Sling Load Specific) and 92S Shower and Laundry training.
- Operate vehicles and stationary equipment associated with field services and Sling Load systems; report and track status of work orders, site improvement projects, facilities maintenance, and safety and environmental compliance projects.
- Operate and maintain, by performing daily PMCS IAW the applicable 10 or 23-level maintenance manuals, equipment such as: 10K, 6K, 4K forklifts; field shower pump systems for Laundry Units (Laundry Advanced System (LADS) or Containerized Batch Laundry (CBL)); 48 Foot Temper Tents; Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles FMTV W/E Truck Tractor with generator; 10KW (M85) or 30KW (LADS) generators; Army Water Heater 400 (AWH 400); 3000 gallon collapsible tank; 5 ton LMTV Cargo Truck, 125 Gallons Per Minute (GPM) pump; 12 head shower unit.
Required Education and Experience:
- Training Support Specialists shall have a high school diploma or General Education Diploma, experience as a former E5 with five (5) years military experience in MOS 92F (for the MIF or PTF), 92A (LTD), 92W (for the Water Training Sites), 92G (JCCoE FOTB and Garrison Kitchen), 92R/S (Aerial Delivery/Sling load Sites), 92M (for Mortuary Affairs).
- Training Support Specialists performing training support services at JCCoE and ADFSD training sites shall have a Class B Commercial Driver’s License at the start of the performance of services.
- The Subcontractor must possess a valid driver’s license at the start of performance on this task order.
- All Training Support Specialists shall participate in site maintenance tasks in preparation of training events and clean up. This site maintenance includes but is not limited to: Daily Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) IAW the respective -10 TM prescribed operator level actions for all vehicles and equipment.
- All Training Support Specialists shall perform set up/ tear down of all equipment used for training in the field in accordance with the equipment Technical Manuals; field-expedient repairs of equipment; perform minor equipment/vehicle restoration and repair work (such as rust removal, touch-up paint, etc.); seasonal site maintenance; maintaining berms; and performing gravel patch work on the training sites.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
- Capability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Possess and maintain all required training and certifications.

Work Environment:
Normal hours for conducting business between the hours of 0800 to 1700, with personnel schedules staggered to allow for classroom availability between the hours of 0700 to 1800
Monday thru Friday except Federal Holidays or when the Government facility is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government directed facility closings.
These operating hours and days may vary based on the requirements of the agency. Personnel work schedules may be “flexed” to meet the training needs of the Cyber School for weekend and extended duty periods during regular training and exercises, while still adhering to the standard five-day work week. Overtime will not be authorized.
