Senior Factory Design Engineer

ABOUT THE TEAM

Anduril’s Factory as a Product team is seeking a Senior Factory Design Engineer to join our team. The Factory as a Product team architects and delivers solutions for advanced manufacturing engineering and factory development.

As Senior Factory Design Engineer, you will define and deploy business processes and digital tools focused on transforming the co-design & engineering lifecycle phases for our factories. If you are excited to take a new approach to manufacturing, where the factory is the product and the future is hyper-scale and software-defined, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Define solutions to enable new ways of working for factory development and industrial engineering.
• Balance standardization with adaptability for scalable, high-impact solutions.
• Lead and manage digital manufacturing transformation projects from inception through implementation.
• Develop comprehensive solutions encompassing business process, digital tools, and data. Evaluate alternatives, create roadmaps, and conduct gap analyses.
• Specify functional requirements and workflows to the business systems team. Collaborate with the business systems team to prioritize projects, ensure implementation, and perform testing and validation to ensure processes and tools meet end-user need.
• Champion deployment and adoption across global manufacturing engineering teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience in BIM, factory design, architecture, digital manufacturing, or digital transformation
• 6+ years experience overall in one or more of the following domains: BIM, construction management, industrial engineering, product management, digital transformation, change management, consulting.
• Experience from design to commissioning of manufacturing plants with deep knowledge of development, co-design, and engineering phases of product lifecycle.
• Track record of successfully developing and implementing impactful solutions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 8 – 10+ years experience in relevant domains
• Experience leading organizational change.
• Experience working with engineering, manufacturing and business systems teams.

US Salary Range$140,000—$200,000 USD

 

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
