Title:

Program Analyst, Junior

Seeking a Highly motivated Junior Program Analyst that is a self-starter, demonstrates critical thinking, and portrays initiative to support the fast-paced F-18 Avionics Advanced Systems IPT.  You will be part of a team of highly driven, supportive, and skilled professionals engaged in support of logistics, technical and business case analysis across the NAVAIR community. 

Role and Responsibilities:

  • This position provides support services for program management, logistics, engineering, integration and sustainment planning to the F/A-18 Program in Lexington Park, MD.

Functional Description:

  • Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.

  • Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. 

  • Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs. 

  • Tracks program/project status and schedules.  Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

  • Responsibilities include working alongside the Government Furnished Property (GFP) manager to manage and maintain GFP and accountability of ~45,000 pieces of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy-ERP).

  • Travel to Granite City, Illinois and Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG) in Tucson, Arizona is a possibility multiple times a year. Manage warehouse assets that will be moved to vendors for replenishment and upgrading.

  • Member will utilize Navy Financial Management Office (FMO) databases to track and update GFE in N-ERP. DoD website: Procurement Integrated Environment (PIE), with Wide-Area-Work-Flow (WAWF), a new module within PIE will be operated to update, track, and manage GFP and GFE. Member will also be responsible for gathering data for audit purposes and inventory management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree.

Contract requirements (Allowable Substitution):

  • An Associate’s degree plus two (2) years additional work experience; OR four (4) years additional work experience may be substituted for a BA or BS.

  • Must have less than 3 years’ experience performing duties described in the functional description.

  • General knowledge of NAVAIR policies, procedures, terminology and requirements is preferred.

  • Must have demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft suite, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel

  • An active secret level security clearance.

Contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
