Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring a Business Development Specialist to join our team. This individual is an integral member of the Clinical Supply US BD team that helps exceed sales targets and deliver growth.

Catalent Pharma Solutions is hiring a Business Development Specialist to join our team. This individual is an integral member of the Clinical Supply US BD team that helps exceed sales targets and deliver growth.

The Role:
- Assisting with lead generation and prospecting across North America - West
- Engaging with customers to present Catalent’s capabilities, understand their needs and present them with targeted proposals
- Complete proposal requests (QIFs) for new opportunities and work with clients services, operations and project management to develop accurate and winning quotations
- Act as support and back-up for the US BD team (out of office cover for PTO and business travel)
- Participation in and planning of key tradeshows.
- Assist with incorporating the use of Business Intelligence into territory plans
- Assist the team on administrative tasks as needed (e.g. QIFs, on-boarding, quote reviews)
- Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate:
- High school diploma/GED minimum education requirement; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in prospecting, lead generation, sales, B2B relationship creation, data mining, outreach, running marketing campaigns, etc.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks at one time and must have excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must demonstrate proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with Salesforce.com and ClinicalTrials.gov preferred. Must have some general knowledge of clinical trials and key businesses involved in the clinical trial process.
- Physical requirements: located in the US/EU/UK region and must be located within 50 miles from a Catalent facility. Ability to conduct position responsibilities in a remote working environment involving use of IT equipment for extended periods. Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to comprehensively read, write, and speak English.
Pay:
The annual pay range for this position in New Jersey is $52,200 - $79,700
The final salary offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc. Catalent is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
