Director, Data Operations

Dodge Construction Network is seeking a results-driven leader to spearhead a multi-year organizational transformation of our Data Operations function. This role will be responsible for driving significant productivity improvements and cost efficiency through a combination of vendor optimization, offshore leverage, and automation adoption. Ultimately, this leader will transition Data Operations into a fully offshore-managed capability, ensuring streamlined, high-quality, and scalable data delivery.

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the SVP, Data Strategy and Operations.

Preferred Location

This is a remote, home-office based role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered

Travel Requirements

Expected travel is 20% - 30% for this role including international travel

Essential Functions

Strategic Transformation Leadership

• Define and execute a multi-phase roadmap to transform Data Operations, balancing cost, quality, and scalability
• Establish KPIs to track productivity gains, and efficiency metrics throughout the transformation

Vendor & BPO Optimization

• Evaluate current 3rd-party vendor arrangements and identify opportunities to consolidate, renegotiate, or reallocate work
• Build a strategic sourcing strategy that reduces dependency on fragmented vendor models and ensures long-term scalability

Offshoring Strategy & Execution

• Lead the migration of operational processes from onshore to offshore delivery centers
• Build and manage strong offshore teams, ensuring robust governance, service-level accountability, and continuous performance improvement

Automation & Technology Enablement

• Partner with engineering and data science teams to deploy automation, AI, and ML models that reduce manual workloads
• Redesign operational processes to maximize automation adoption, enabling efficiency and resilience

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in a related field/equivalent education and/or relevant work experience

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data operations, business process outsourcing, or shared services transformation preferably in an information services business
• Proven track record of delivering large-scale cost transformation programs, including offshoring and automation initiatives
• Strong vendor management, contract negotiation, and partnership-building skills
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Experience using SQL and / or Python for data analysis
• Construction Industry experience
• Experience working with AI/ML-driven automation in data-heavy workflows
• Experience with business intelligence tools
