Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Job Description:

In this position, you will work closely with a professor to contribute to teaching activities. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and teaching.

Responsibilities may include:

Teaching Assistance:

• Conduct tutorials, workshops, or lab sessions to support student learning.
• Provide guidance and support to students on course-related inquiries.

Grading:

• Evaluate and grade assignments, exams, and other assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their understanding and performance.
• Maintain accurate records of student grades and attendance.

Qualifications:

• Good academic standing with a strong GPA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with students, faculty, and staff.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

• Part-time
• Student
• 10 hrs./week

Salary Range:

• Undergraduate $17.50/hr.
• Graduate $18.50/hr.
