Job Description
MindMaze is growing and expanding its business in the US. Following the opening of our US entity last year, and in response to the growth of the commercial activities, we are looking for a Logistics & Warehouse Specialist
This position will report to the Remote Supply Chain Manager based at the head office in Switzerland. You will play a vital role in the company's global supply chain and will be managing all logistics activities from a small warehouse in the Raleigh area. You will be exposed to and involved in all aspects of the supply chain in a regulated environment. You will work with various departments across different regions to ensure product availability and visibility within the supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Plans, coordinates, executes, and directs shipping/receiving efforts for time-sensitive shipments: Physically assembles and tests products to documented provisioning procedures, including updating the image software. Prepare shipments, including the preparation of freight documents and the packing of goods. Ensure on-time shipments and collections.
- Generate, communicate, and present plans, dashboards, and reports to stakeholders.
- Update and maintain the inventory management system, which is currently Excel-based
- Manage inventory, and accurately process inventory transactions
- Place purchase orders to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Track shipments, identify potential issues quickly, find solutions, and communicate potential delays to customers.
- Validate, document, and implement new processes
Qualifications
- Professional education with a degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferred
- 3 - 5 years of shipping and logistics-related experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain, operations, and business processes and tools
- As we are a growing business, strong motivation and interest in learning and improving systems and processes is key
- Experience in the medical device industry and exposure to ISO 13485 preferred.
- A strong interest and drive for process improvement.
- Self-driven personality with strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Computer Skills:
- Spreadsheets: managing complex spreadsheets, ability to analyze data (uploading data, creating pivots, graphs, tables, etc. in Excel or Google Sheets).
- Word processing to produce shipping and other documents (MS Word, Google Docs)
- Video conferencing (Zoom, Google Meet)
- Messaging (Slack)
- ERP experience (Business Central)
- Salesforce
- Jira (PO processing, cost tracking)
Salary Ranges: $65,000 - $78,250 (DOE) a year
