About the role

The Manager, Regional Training Center (RTC) is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and management of training programs within designated regional training centers. This role ensures that training initiatives align with organizational goals, enhance employee performance, and maintain consistency across multiple locations. The RTC Program Manager collaborates with leadership, instructional designers, LMS admin, and field trainers to deliver effective learning experiences that support operational excellence.

  • Design, develop, and implement training programs for employees at RTCs to enhance operational skills and compliance.
  • Ensure training materials and programs align with company standards, policies, and strategic goals.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve training programs based on feedback, business needs, and performance metrics.
  • Manage policies, procedures, and processes of the training centers, ensuring a consistent, high-quality learning environment.
  • Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, facility management, and resource allocation for training centers.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and company policies within training centers.
  • Work closely with trainers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and regional leaders to provide impactful training sessions.
  • Support the certification and ongoing development of trainers and facilitators.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness and impact.
  • Gather and analyze data to assess program success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare reports for leadership on training outcomes and recommendations.

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in training program management, learning & development, or operations training.

Additional knowledge and skills:

  • Strong knowledge of instructional design, adult learning principles, and training facilitation.
  • Experience managing large-scale training programs across multiple locations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to analyze training effectiveness and implement continuous improvements.
  • Experience in an operational, field-based training environment.
  • Certification in training methodologies (e.g., ATD, CPLP, Kirkpatrick Model).
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms.
