Position Summary
You and your team, Applied Solutions & Production (ASP) are an in-house technical team within the LSEG Pricing Service. This team consists of staff in the US, London, Costa Rica, and Poland. As part of a small team, you will be a key member in helping develop and build the future of technology for the LSEG Pricing Service.
Why is this job meaningful? The ASP team crafts, develops, and supports various tools used by the fixed income evaluations staff of the LSEG Pricing Service. These tools are fundamentally coordinated into the daily production processes of the group. This role will also contribute to the team's branching out into applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence in the pricing process.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Financial Engineering or similar
1+ years of professional experience in software design and support; including self QA & testing, code review, documentation, training, and operational support
Proficiency with Python (preferred) and other programming languages
1+ years solid understanding of relational databases and SQL
Training / Experience with modern AI / ML technologies
Will be a Competitive Candidate if you possess the following Skill Sets
1+ years with fixed income securitization and pricing methodologies
Knowledge of cloud computing (Amazon/Azure) topics
Daily Tasks Performed
Develop/implement pricing tools according to business need
Using tools primarily involved in generating prices, but also secondary tools such as data parsers, automated QA reports, research tools, etc
Support production/operations issues for daily pricing
Ensure that processes/workflows are running efficiently, diagnosing or debugging errors and failures, and communicating closely with evaluations and pricing operations staff to understand any errors and suggest corrective actions
Follow standard methodologies for projects composed by ASP team and LSEG Pricing Service as a whole
Participate in research & development of AI/ML projects

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $113,300 - $188,800.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/”bonus plan”). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
