About the role

Description

The Project Manager is responsible for managing and delivering initial Healthcare facilities outfitting projects on time, within budget, according to the contract, while achieving 100% client satisfaction. This is a fully remote position.


Duties include:

  • Develop a cost-effective plan and schedule for project completion utilizing resources logically.
  • Manage the design process, control scope development, and assist in updating the FF&E/LVS schedule for installations and moves.
  • Coordinate with clients, design-build or construction project teams, and vendors to ensure project installation needs are met.
  • Develop, manage, and organize FF&E/LVS submittals and documentation across both design and project phases, including assisting equipment planners with system database, specifications, and quotes.
  • Assist project superintendent and field staff with coordination, communication, and various clerical duties as needed.
  • Write, distribute, and update subcontracts, purchase orders, and analyze/scope subcontractor and vendor bids for proper scope and evaluation.
  • Prepare and disseminate closeout manuals, Requests for Information/Clarifications, and ensure maintenance of logs and all project documentation.
  • Support the project team by integrating into the delivery team to provide clear, accurate solutions to the owner’s needs.
  • Prepare and help prepare FF&E/LVS drawings, and lead or participate in all project-related meetings.
  • Oversee onsite and offsite processes to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations alongside site Superintendent.
  • Prepare internal and external reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions, including monthly forecasting, budgeting, cost and risk analysis, and recommendations to management.
  • Manage each phase of the project including entitlement, design-build, permitting, bidding, contracting, construction, billing, and close out to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Oversee project budget, timelines, quality control, and assurance. Conduct project IO-T and Commodity cost estimating.
  • Establish site offices, facilitate communication between offices, and provide evaluations of IO superintendents to leadership as requested.
  • Lead procurement activities (buyout) of subcontractors, verify Superintendent’s 3-Week Look Ahead Schedule, and maintain open communication with field staff to work towards issue resolutions.
  • Manage owner relationships and satisfaction, ensure SOW requirements are met, and actively promote effective communication within the project team.
  • Participate in inventory as required, and manage, schedule, and lead low voltage or low voltage design scope processes and meetings on applicable projects.
  • Coordinate work of Mill Creek subcontractors across various phases of the project and ensure preparedness and knowledge of project specifics for all projects and estimates involved.
  • Create, submit, and manage owner and sub vendor/subcontractor pay applications.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Construction or IOT PM experience or related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees and clients; and within Prairie Band, LLC shared services staff regarding invoicing, reporting, operations, and scheduling.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate in high pressure situations.
  • Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced user of MicroSoft Office software.
  • Working knowledge and experience using ProContractor, Audaxware and Sharepoint software highly preferred.
  • Have a complete understanding of the RFP (or solicitation), the proposal and overall scope of work.
  • Knowledge of architectural design processes and documentation preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural programming, design, scheduling and specification documentation preferred.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 applications.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Studio preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to perform self-directed tasks as well as in collaboration with a team.
  • Travel will be required.

  • Ability to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
  • Ability to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds.
