Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Project Management Analyst II to join our Engineering department based in Wichita, Kansas.

You will be part of a team that supports the on-time, on-cost and on-quality delivery of project objectives achieving customer satisfaction in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations. This position involves supporting project and program management initiatives to deliver projects that meet established standards for time, cost, and quality. Key duties include assisting leadership and guiding teams to achieve critical milestones for both internal and external clients, as well as managing project costs and schedules through the application of proven project management methodologies.

Your working environment:

Located on the Wichita State University (WSU) innovation campus is Airbus’ first dedicated engineering facility outside of Europe. Our team of 200+ support staff and engineers focus on aerostructure design including analysis of aircraft primary structures, such as wings and fuselages, for all major Airbus products across the globe.

Your challenges:

• Develop solutions to a wide range of simple to routine problems. Review and interpret project data and develop quality solutions.

• Create or modify business performance documents with high quality and efficiency.

•  Develop reporting of actual resource usage and spend versus planned resource (internal resources and external suppliers) and  budget for the team. 

• Support development of project budgets and communicating attributes related to business performance including travel and subcontracting to management.

• Develop materials for team related briefings to internal and/or external customers.

• Able to understand project planning requirements and implement activities to achieve customer requirements.
