Your Role:
We are looking for a talented and motivated individual to take on the role of Data Governance Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing data management & governance projects from initiation to completion on time, ensuring alignment with Life Science goals.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for data governance and other key initiatives.
Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Data Governance Framework:
Implement a robust data governance framework in line with industry best practices.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and integrity.
Stakeholder Management:
Engage with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure alignment with data governance objectives.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between business units, IT teams, and other relevant departments.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate risks associated with data governance projects.
Implement effective risk management strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and monitor data quality metrics to measure the effectiveness of data governance initiatives.
Implement quality assurance processes to address and resolve data issues.
Who You Are:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or computer science; advanced degree and/or certification in project management is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles, practices, and frameworks.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably with a focus on data governance projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
