The Prologis Essentials team is growing rapidly to create the first and only truly turnkey warehouse solution.  

 

A day in the life 

The Director, Project & Construction Management role will report to the VP of Warehouse Product Solutions to collaborate on the design and delivery of programmatic initiatives and strategy. We are looking for someone that provides a combination of Construction Management and Program Management to implement and deliver complex warehouse products and solutions to our customers.  You will play a key role in building trust that Essentials is the “one hand to shake” for all our customers’ warehousing needs. This subject matter expert will have a deep grasp of how to methodically analyze customer needs and specifications and demonstrate strength in leading a team through problem solving, issue-resolution, and working towards results. 

   

  

Key responsibilities include: 

• Manage a team of Essentials Delivery Managers (EDMs) providing project execution and delivery for our lighting/electrical, network/security, material handling, storage, construction and services businesses delivering successful projects to customers on-time and as promised.  This includes owning operational KPI’s such as delivery time, project margin, and customer satisfaction. 

• Utilize knowledge of jurisdictional permitting requirements, and timeline and budget constraints to deliver next gen warehouse solutions. 

• Partner with the Sales, Warehouse Solutions, and Procurement teams to ensure appropriate project schedules, scope and vendor management measures are in place. 

• Visit customer sites to meet with local decision makers, take tours, learn processes, ask questions, and build trust in Essentials delivery capabilities.
