PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Research and review price movements and variances across various investments
  • Communicate with external pricing vendors to challenge prices and share relevant market information
  • Review/audit valuation model inputs and assumptions for private assets
  • Communicate with valuation specialists, provide feedback and commentary on their reports
  • Compile data from various sources and prepare summarized calculations
  • Prepare quarterly Valuation Committee materials
  • Reconcile data across systems and reports
  • Identify process breakdowns, analyze the root cause, and build controls to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare workpapers in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404
  • Perform frequent ad hoc analysis and assist with special projects, as requested

REQUIREMENTS

Candidate qualifications are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
  • Detail oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and eagerness to learn
  • Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate issues in verbal and written form, and work on resolution with the supervision of other team members
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of market data services like Bloomberg and other financial tools preferred
  • Interest in pursuing CFA designation preferred
