What You’ll Do: As an Events and Activities Coordinator, you will plan, plan and promote community events in a growing HOA community! This position has flexible hours that includes some nights, weekends and major holidays. You will help our communities thrive and be vibrant places to live. We want

Essential functions include:
- ? Plans, promotes, and executes a robust annual calendar of activities, classes, sports, health programs, group fitness, and special events
- Attend board and committee meetings when scheduled
- Builds partnerships and sponsorships with local businesses and organizations
- Recruits and organizes volunteers for helping hands with events
- Maintains the community website updated posting documents and sending out email bulletins
- Produces and edits the community newsletter (monthly publication using Word & Publisher)
- Manages the ballroom calendar to confirm ballroom rental agreements (with CAM and Board approval)
- Conducts new homeowner orientations and serves as a local resource for homeowners
- Collaborate with Community Association Manager and appropriate board liaison and committee members for all revenue producing to include overall event strategies and tactics, ticket pricing, sponsorship solicitation, volunteer engagement and committee management, printed collateral production, coordination of event logistics, budgeting and goal attainment.
- Reports to the Community Association Manager
Requirements
Qualifications include a minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in the following areas:
- ? Professional event planning
- Website administration
- Newsletter production
- Create social media posts to promote events for ticket sales
- Experience with Active Adult Programming preferred
- Strong leadership, time management and program management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface effectively with board of directors, homeowners, builder sales associates and community partners
- PC Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft office programs, Constant Contact, Canva.
- FrontSteps and PayPal experience a Plus.
- Ability to set, manage and persuasively communicate clear goals and objectives
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift repetitively up to 25 lbs.
