Senior Frontend Developer

<p>We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer to join our diverse and global team at Allianz Technology, the internal IT provider for the Allianz Group. You will work with English-speaking developers to implement and maintain frontend libraries and workflow application for multiple countries. The ideal candidate is proficient in Angular and TypeScript, has a passion for continuous learning, and possesses excellent English communication skills as well as team player’s attitude. </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What you do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Extend and maintain a component library used by numerous applications within the Allianz ecosystem, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reusability across projects.</li> <li>Stay updated with the latest Angular features, tools, and best practices to continuously improve development processes.</li> <li>Utilize Schematics and GitHub Actions to automate repetitive generative tasks and streamline development workflows.</li> <li>Provide support to development teams globally during onboarding and offer third-level assistance in resolving complex technical issues and discussions with business stakeholders.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews, testing, demoing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery and adherence to standards.</li> <li>Document technical decisions, specifications, procedures, and guidelines for clarity and future reference.</li> <li>Collaborate with stakeholders to align business requirements with timely code developments, ensuring a win-win situation.</li> </ul> <p><br/><strong>What you bring </strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an Angular/TypeScript Developer or similar role, with a strong understanding of Angular framework concepts, including components, services, routing, and dependency injection.</li> <li>5+ years of software development experience, with 4+ years specifically in Angular 2+, ECMAScript 6+, and NodeJS.</li> <li>Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and HTTP integrations, along with experience in version control systems like Git.</li> <li>Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma, as well as end-to-end testing tools such as Cypress or Playwright.</li> <li>Experience with cloud development and GitHub (Monorepo), and proficiency in development methods and tools: CI/CD Pipeline, Clean Code, DevOps, FE Security, and UX/UI sensibility.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to leverage AI across the frontend SDLC, with continuous awareness of AI advancements and when to adopt them: AI coding/testing assistants; skilled in vendor/tool evaluation; and maintains strong privacy, security, and accessibility practices.</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+), with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, and a collaborative team player open to feedback and continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p><br/><strong>What we offer </strong></p> <ul> <li>We offer a hybrid work model which recognizes the value of striking a balance between in-person collaboration and remote working incl. up to 25 days per year working from abroad.</li> <li>We believe in rewarding performance and our compensation and benefits package includes a company bonus scheme, pension, employee shares program and multiple employee discounts (details vary by location).</li> <li>From career development and digital learning programs to international career mobility, we offer lifelong learning for our employees worldwide and an environment where innovation, delivery and empowerment are fostered.</li> <li>Flexible working, health and wellbeing offers (including healthcare and parental leave benefits) support to balance family and career and help our people return from career breaks with experience that nothing else can teach.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><br/>75676 | Ingeniería informática y tecnológica | Profesional / Senior | PG10 | Allianz Technology | Jornada completa | Indefinido</p><p><strong>About Allianz Technology</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>With its headquarters in Munich, Germany, Allianz Technology is Allianz's global IT service provider and delivers IT solutions that drive the group's digitalization.
