About the role

Job Description

The Director, HR Analytics, will play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of our organization by providing data-driven insights and recommendations related to human resources. The role is responsible for developing standardized metrics and analytics spanning the entire employee lifecycle. This position will develop predictive data models and analyze large data sets to provide critical insights that support decision making and inform Aramark’s global people strategy.  The Director will lead a team responsible for analyzing HR metrics, creating reports, and translating complex data into actionable strategies.  This position requires exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities and will report directly to the VP of Talent Management.

Job Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities 
•    Design an effective strategy to execute the vision, goals and objectives for the HR Analytics and Reporting capability and ensure stakeholder alignment on priorities, implementation, and management.
•    Develop the ownership, oversight and assurance of stakeholder participation required to manage HR Reporting and Insights and work within the organization to establish it as a critical asset.
•    Deliver the value of data driven insights while demonstrating compelling business cases and data stories that enable enterprise decision-making.
•    Put in place the initiatives that bring disparate HR analytics and reporting toolsets on to a standardized platform and retire tools sets that are redundant. This will include transition of the existing reports on to the new platforms without interrupting business and functional team needs.
•    Build predictive and optimization models to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, turnover, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, performance management, rewards & recognition, and all other areas corresponding to people analytics.
•    Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual analyses of key business areas identifying trends and root-causes providing insights that shape operational decision making and Aramark’s global people strategy.
•    Develop and execute multi-dimensional analysis leveraging both structured and unstructured data.
•    Leverage creative solutions, analytics, and visualization/reporting techniques to enhance knowledge and drive actionable insights.
•    Proactively identify business challenges and use data analysis to help influence changes to the operations, process, or programs. 
•    Partner with internal HR COEs (e.g. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Transformation, HR Operations and Talent Acquisition) to identify key insights, metrics, trends, and analysis to support HR business partners and "tell the story."
•    Partner with Field HR to identify, measure and monitor HR performance metrics that are key drivers of business performance.
•    Translate data findings into actionable insights for HR leadership and business stakeholders.
•    Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost savings, and efficiency gains based on data analysis.
•    Contribute to maturity of data democratization, governance, privacy of HR data throughout the organization
•    Lead a team of HR analysts and reporting specialists to effectively execute against strategy
•    Foster a collaborative and data-driven culture within the HR department.
•    Provide consultative services to HR and non-HR teams, helping them make informed decisions based on data insights.
•    Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR strategies with overall business goals.
•    Manage strategic projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
•    Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
•     Strong understanding of data analytics, reporting, KPIs, management with data, and advanced analytics.
•    10 years of progressive experience with human capital data, analytics, and reporting.
•    Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
•    Proficiency in HRIS systems (SAP experience preferred).
•    Experience in data visualization tools (Qlik or PowerBI).
•    Applied experience in global data privacy.
•    Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
•    Excellent interpersonal skills: collaborating, networking, influencing; able to work effectively in virtual international and cross-functional teams.
•    Demonstrated track record of leading effective and engaged teams.
•    Strong project planning and management skills.
•    Ability to multi-task and manage multiple initiatives.
