- Security Risk Assessments: Gain insight into how complex security risk assessments of high-value corporate facilities, operations, and assets are conducted, supporting national homeland security strategies.
- Open-Source Intelligence: Learn how to collect, evaluate, and analyze open-source intelligence to develop threat assessments and comprehensive risk forecasts, forming the foundation of global security programs.
- Corporate Investigations: Understand how corporate investigations are conducted across various international legal jurisdictions and how lessons learned are applied to support global business objectives.
- Crisis Management & Business Continuity: Explore how corporate crisis management and business continuity programs are tailored to corporate/industry risk profiles to minimize security and financial risk while supporting global operations.
- Supply Chain Security & Asset Protection: Discover how proactive, intelligence-based supply chain security and asset protection programs are integrated into business models, enabling operations in high-risk international markets.
- Global Security Strategies: Learn how multi-dimensional global security risk management strategies are developed and implemented to add quantifiable value to business operations.
What We Expect:
- Upper-level undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Global Security, International Relations/Global Affairs, or Security Management.
- At least one (1) recommendation from a university faculty member.
- Ability to work for 40 hours per week either in person at our Downtown Houston location or remotely.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) relating to LyondellBasell confidential and proprietary information.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.
