Job Details  

• Design and maintain automated processes to ensure ease and security of access to Snowflake
• Design and maintain automated processes to ensure transparent cost management and oversight of Snowflake
• Drive best practice for engineering on Snowflake, including code version control, CI/CD etc
• Lead a small team to administer and optimise Snowflake usage around the business
• Drive best practice for integrating to Snowflake particularly from Azure Data Factory

Skills we would love you to have 

• Strong experience with Snowflake engineering (SQL scripting DDL and DML, task orchestration, integration management)
• Strong experience with Snowflake administration (RBAC, warehouse provision, cost management, time-travel, disaster recovery)
• Experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Dev Ops (ETL orchestration, Git integration, CI/CD)
• Experience working in an Agile environment, utilising methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban/BDD/TDD
• Enthusiasm for maintaining and providing a best-in-class data platform to the business.
• Snowflake certifications
  Azure data certifications
