Outside Plant/Field Supervisor

Description

Our Telecommunications Company is a full-service communications general contractor with a steadfast commitment to doing what’s right for the project and our customers. We are currently looking to add to our team and are searching for a qualified Field Supervisor for our Central Illinois Area (preferably Rockford, IL).

Field supervisors are responsible for inspecting systems, job sites and materials to ensure the work meets quality standards, codes, and design. Responsible for timely reporting and tracking of potential problems.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Attend pre-planning meetings

· Evaluate plans and specifications to ensure conformance with regulations

· Conduct field inspections of site and materials

· Report violations to appropriate supervisor

Requirements

Field Supervisors are required to have a minimum of a HS diploma or equivalent with at least 3 years of experience in a OSP Telecommunications construction environment

Must have coax experience.
