Associate Director of Philanthropy

Location: Lexington, KY 

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm, with occasional weekends as needed

Note: This is a hybrid remote position and may be required to work in office upon hire during the introductory period.

About the role: 

The team member in this position is responsible for all aspects of donor relations and fundraising initiatives for the regional office(s) to which they are assigned. The focus of this role is to sustain, develop, and grow mid-level and major gifts within their assigned Regional Office(s) service area and assist with donors in the Lexington Region and out-of-area donors as needed. This role will work in collaboration with the Director of Philanthropy for Individual Giving and the Executive Director of the assigned Regional Office(s).   

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of experience in fundraising required.  
• Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.  
• Ability to handle various situations with calmness and stability. 
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.  
• Knowledge of data systems and analysis.  
• Ability to exercise judgment and discretion in confidential matters.  
• Flexibility to work evening and weekend events.  
• Excellent computer skills. 
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that is insured in accordance with state and/or organization requirements, with personal auto liability insurance of $100,000/$300,000 in bodily injury coverage. 
• Team members will be expected to comply with Bluegrass Care Navigators (BCN) Employee Health, infectious disease, and vaccination policies.
