Lead Civil Engineer - Diablo Canyon, California - ONSITE

About the role:

As a Lead Structural Engineer at the Diablo Canyon site, you will ensure structural supports, foundations, and modifications for new feedwater heaters are safe and compliant with nuclear regulations. You will engage with our teams and customers and oversee technical tasks for a small team of structural engineers.

 

You will report to the Director of Civil, Structural and Architectural Engineering.  This position is required to be at the Diablo Canyon site located in Avila Beach, CA through Spring 2027.  Flexible options may be considered thereafter at the manager's discretion. Relocation and per diem provided.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee technical design and engineering for nuclear structural engineering

• Compliance and Regulatory Adherence, Safety Assurance and document control

• Project Management and planning like schedule, budget and resource allocation

• Risk management and quality control

Qualifications:

• 10+ years' experience applicable engineering

• Bachelor's Degree in Structural, Civil or Architectural Engineering or equivalent

• Develop engineering deliverables like Changes and Item Equivalencies

• This role is required to be at the Diablo Canyon site through Spring 2027
