We are looking for a Jr. Systems Administrator with a broad technical skillset and strong Microsoft 365 Modern Work background to join us as we build and support cutting-edge technology solutions! Under general direction of the IT Manager, the Jr. Systems Administrator is responsible for performing the day-to-day activities associated with the operational support of Blueprint’s IT infrastructure and global user base.

 In this role you’ll serve as a critical point of contact for Blueprint IT support, acting as a subject matter expert and providing technical/application assistance across all entities within our organization. Applicants must be capable of timely coordination and communication with all involved parties regarding incidents, requests, and outages (planned and unplanned) to help facilitate quick resumption of business processes. This team member must provide a high level of customer service, technical skill, the ability to continuously improve service quality, consistency, and demonstrate a desire to learn new applications and stay informed of changes to existing Blueprint applications and services as they develop and grow with the organization. This role is on-site at our headquarters in Bellevue, WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate expertise in specific solutions, or several products, feature functions, or services as detailed in the Core Qualifications listed below.
  • Provide technical and designated information technology support including issue resolution, coordination and communication, analysis, escalation and reporting of issues.
  • Respond, diagnose, and resolve calls/requests for assistance received through all communication channels and follow-up on end user issues consistently to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in proactive technology management, spot performance issues, troubleshoot and analyze problems, and develop solutions to meet internal customer needs.
  • Contribute to on-call rotations to ensure a high quality of service for IT systems and service incidents in support of Blueprint staff and customers.
  • Maintain Service desk documentation, including procedures, scripts, and processes.
  • Work within a technical team to strengthen internal customer relationships and work on security-first, cloud-first strategies for immediate and long-term plans and initiatives.
  • Work with internal business teams, account teams, product engineering teams and other Blueprint stakeholders to participate in problem resolution and service improvements.
  • Share and gain knowledge through team education and shadowing opportunities.
  • Apply lessons learned for continuous process and service improvement.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues, perform necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Coordinate with hardware vendors to facilitate warranty claims, including diagnosing hardware issues, initiating repair or replacement requests, managing RMAs, and ensuring timely resolution while maintaining accurate asset records.

Qualifications:

  • 1-4 years of IT technical experience in systems administration, network operations, or ITIL level 2/3 Service Desk
