The Global Safety & Environment Industrial Hygiene (IH) Intern will support the IH Center of Excellence (CoE) team. The IH team is responsible for delivering skills, tools, and digital solutions to enable non-expert individuals to build industrial hygiene capabilities to achieve compliance with regulatory and company standards.
Work on projects bringing energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership. Potential projects include the following.
Participate in the development and management of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) management system for IH.
Assist with IH risk assessments for chemical, noise, and non-ionizing radiation.
Assist in developing IH-related communications.
Assist in the development and delivery of IH initiatives.
Assist with data entry and review in our data management system (i.e., Cority).
Provide IH administrative support.
Education:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s in Safety, Engineering, Science, or a related Health or Safety field of study.
Required Experience and Skills:
Should have completed at least 2 years of college coursework.
Able to work full-time for 10-12 weeks.
Critical thinking, clear and effective communication, project management, problem-solving, and computer skills.
Ability to receive verbal or written direction and implement corresponding changes.
Ability to work independently and with various roles and team members for different assignments.
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00
