We're a collaborative group of passionate designers and researchers who thrive on solving complex problems and crafting exceptional user experiences. Within the Personal Work Space business group, we focus on creating tools and accessories that empower people to do their best work, whether in a traditional office, at home, or on the go.

The Industrial Design Manager, Personal Work Space is a key leader in this mission. Based in San Jose, you'll not only craft the visual language and physical form of our products, but you'll also inspire and guide a team of talented designers to do the same. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, from product engineering to marketing, to ensure that our products are not just beautiful, but also functional, innovative, and deeply resonate with our customers.

• Lead by design: Drive the design vision for personal workspace products, from initial concept to mass production. Your passion for user-centered design will guide every decision, ensuring our products meet and exceed the needs of our customers.

• Build strong partnerships: Collaborate closely with product engineering, marketing, and other teams to ensure a seamless product development process. Your ability to build relationships and influence others will be crucial to success.

Key Qualifications

For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial/Product Design or a closely related field, coupled with 7+ years of experience in industrial design, including a proven track record of leading and mentoring design teams.

• Technical proficiency: Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Rhino, SolidWorks) and rendering tools (e.g., Keyshot). Experience with hands-on model making and prototyping is a plus.

• Communication mastery: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely. English fluency is a must.

• Leadership qualities: A passion for mentoring and developing others, along with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve shared goals.

• Deep understanding: Well-versed in user-centered design methods and techniques, with a solid grasp of the latest consumer electronics technologies and manufacturing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing consumer electronics or workspace peripherals.

• Familiarity with global design trends and consumer preferences, particularly Asia

• A strong portfolio showcasing innovative, commercially relevant product designs.

• Ability to translate and communicate design ideas through inspiring and compelling storytelling.
