  • Drive action that fosters greater inclusion and fairness within Capital Markets, including systematic adjustments (e.g., changes to policies, processes, practices, tools) and upskilling programs (e.g., formal trainings, experience sharing sessions), and where needed, hands-on planning and management of the execution of processes, practices and programs.
  • Serve as the dedicated liaison between Enterprise and Capital Markets (regarding inclusion topics) – including bringing new solutions to Capital Markets from other parts of RBC and surfacing winning efforts built within Capital Markets to consider for deployment elsewhere.
  • Partner with the Sustainability Performance and Data team to support platform and regional data needs related to advancing strategic priorities, monitoring progress, and ensuring accountability.
  • Support the VP, Global Inclusion in developing enterprise-wide strategies and roadmaps by leveraging one’s direct experience supporting Capital Markets platform; additionally, serve as a source of ideas for the broader RBC Sustainability team by ‘connecting dots’ between practices.
  • Ensure RBC is accurately and appropriately represented as a leader in local and community initiatives supported by the business platform(s).
  • Supervise and manage a direct report.

  • Proven advisory and consulting skills with a demonstrated capability to collaborate with senior executives, including the ability to generate buy-in, drive cross-team alignment, appropriately set expectations, and activate / mobilize for action.
  • Business acumen and aptitude to rapidly digest changing landscapes and ascertain the practical implications for initiatives that are either established, in-process, or planned.
