Business Intelligence Developer III

Pathwire, a Sinch company is looking for an expert, hard-working Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to build and maintain BI and analytics solutions that turn data into useful information using SQL and modern Business Intelligence tools. In this role, you should have a proven background in SQL, ETL and Data Warehouse design. The ideal candidate will be able to proactively solve sophisticated problems and design data models that empower various business units to be successful in the accomplishment of their goals!
Responsibilities- Translate business needs into designs for end to end data solutions with a wholistic view of the entire business
- Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. Data Models, Warehouses, etc.)
- Create ETL processes to store and transform data
- Continually evaluate and improve existing BI architecture
- Collaborate with teams to integrate systems
- Develop sophisticated database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update data warehouse design documentation
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer
- Solid grasp of SQL and relational theory
- Experienced with modern BI technologies
- Background in data warehouse implementation and design
- In-depth understanding of database management systems and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework
- Proven abilities to take initiative and be innovative
- Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude
- Experience with Looker, Matillion and Snowflake or other Column Store type warehouses and ETL (ELT) technologies.
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
