Job Summary

Seattle Children's Foundation and Guild Association supports the mission of Seattle Children's Hospital by raising crucial funds for patient care programs, groundbreaking research, and uncompensated care for families in need, all with the overarching goal of helping every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible. In this role, you will:

  • Perform a wide range of highly complex administrative tasks, including the organization, prioritization, and coordination of a high volume of work including confidential information.

  • Schedule meetings for department managers, resolve conflicts and/or communicate conflicts to schedule owners and reschedule meetings as needed. Order and setup equipment and catering. Take and distribute meeting minutes as requested.

  • Participate in meeting preparations for department managers, including securing agendas, printing, or providing reading materials and presentations and ensuring that pre-meeting needs are met in a timely and coordinated fashion.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors and visitors. Redirect external and internal partners and donors to appropriate departments, organizations, or service centers. Answer visitor and donor questions and provide additional research and follow up as necessary.

  • Additional duties may include creating, editing, and proofreading various department documents; creating and maintaining filing systems; arranging travel; entering, extracting, and analyzing data into reports and presentations; coordinating and monitoring budget preparation; auditing or reconciling financial statements and invoices; and managing workload required to complete projects. Operate standard office equipment (PC, printer, copier, fax). Order office supplies and maintain inventory of department equipment and supplies. Track expenses against department budgets.

  

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent experience. Minimum five (5) years of related experience in the areas of customer service and/or office management including responsible administrative work supporting high level management or executives.

Required Credentials
If assigned to a Home Care Services department, a copy of required education for this position (diploma or transcript) must be submitted upon hire.

Preferred
Bachelor’s degree. Healthcare/medical office experience. Project management assistance experience.

Compensation Range

$25.85 - $38.78 per hour

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
