Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:30am -5:00pmhis role is in support of Cencora's veterinary and livestock production solutions marketed through our MWI Animal Health business. MWI Animal Health is a leading brand of Cencora, offering animal health services globallyUnder direct supervision of the Parts Supervisor, the Parts Specialist is responsible for picking up, receiving, delivering, stocking, pulling, shipping, and maintaining weekly cycle counts on inventory of over 6,000 skus. The Production Parts Specialist is also responsible for getting installs pulled and making sure all components of the system are accounted for to fulfill the order and maintain on time delivery according to the installation schedule and information from the field. They work closely with the purchasing team to insure items get orders that are missing from the project. They also handle returns from the field and process damaged items and investigate items lost in transit.
Processes orders and pulls parts needed for the production department’s installation requests.
Requires time management skills to ensure parts are loaded on trucks to optimize freight expenses. Must be able to get orders pulled in advance in coordination with the truck delivery schedule.
Receives, ships, delivers, and maintains inventory for parts, components, materials and supplies. This includes accepting return authorizations, adding tracking numbers and completing new orders for Service and Support reps’ visibility via the web tool MCI.
Stocks shelves, stocks rotation, and restocks inventory.
Completes and checks install packet paperwork for billing and processing. This will include notating any changes during the installation process for precise and accurate billing.
Research through the use of parts manuals, SOPs, and item catalog for required parts.
Frequently uses several computer software systems, including Excel, Outlook, MCI, Adobe Acrobat and DC1.
Sets up and maintains inventory in a ready state for use.
Completes physical parts inventory, utilizing DC1 for data entry. This includes weekly cycle counts, cage counts, and top 200 counts for two full wall-to-wall counts annually. Will be responsible for their individual section and put away count variations correct.
Loads, unloads, and drives trucks for transfer of materials and components.
Accepts, tags, palatizes, and stores returned assets from the field for redeployment.
Sorts and processes warranty parts and materials.
Transports and records transfers to other locations.
Maintains and cleans warehouse and other related areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent required. 0-1 year of experience preferred.
Forklift experience and basic certification required. A valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
Good customer service skills and a sense of urgency are required. Must be detail oriented.
Adequate mobility to continually walk and stand; pull from various shelf heights using a ladder; and ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly, 50 lbs occasionally, and 100 lbs rarely.
Must be able to read and understand English, have number recognition skills, and good hand/eye coordination.
