Director, Product Operations (Retain-Claims)

The Product team is looking for an accomplished, data-driven, and results oriented Director of Product Operations to join our team!
This position is a hybrid role, and it is required to be on-site 5 days a month at one of the following locations. Starting January 1, 2024, it's required to be on-site 3 days per week.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
In this role, you will partner with Product Management and Design to support formation and evolution of the Value Pool. Ensures proactive engagement across stakeholders and manages ongoing integration points. Develops and manages a team responsible for ongoing proactive communication to drive productivity, streamline initiatives, and identify and remove barriers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Launches and improves processes within a Value Pool.
Optimizes and drives migration to a common toolset to enable transparency within a Value Pool.
Defines and launches interaction models for a Value Pool.
Identifies training needs to ensure adoption of defined processes, interaction models, and tools.
Facilitate roadmap alignment and escalates competing priorities.
Develops objectives and key results and aligns at the Value Pool.
Drives standardization of data, value, and analytics.
Supports the definition and implementation of go-to-market strategy associated with product changes or launches.
Manages career road mapping, mentorships, and training programs.
Monitors, managers and improves associate culture and engagement.
Partners with Agile transformation leadership to adopt and leverage agile best practices.
Partners with leaders and finance to monitor Value Pool budget, forecasting, and resource planning while finding opportunities for budget efficiency.
Monitors and reports on product management flow inclusive of backlog health, velocity, commitment reliability, and time to market with recommendations for improvement.
Prepares and manages department business plans, budgets and staffing; projections, interviewing, performance appraisals and other personnel changes.
CANDIDATE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to follow complex instructions, resolve conflicts or facilitate conflict resolution, and have strong organization/priority setting skills
Must be able to multi-task
Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information
Must be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Must have the following education and experience:
Bachelor's degree required
5+ years of experience in leadership positions with proven record of accomplishment in managing portfolios
3+ years in supporting 2+ major product portfolios (value streams)
3+ years with agile methodologies
5+ years of experience hiring, managing, and developing Associates (individual contributors and people managers)
Experience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform decisions and drive change
Attention to detail and ability to adapt to ongoing change
Familiar with organizational maturity and related transformation
Proficiency in complex facilitation and dependency management
Demonstrated experience influencing leadership and setting expectations for large cross-functional initiatives
Design Thinking, SAFE Agilist, Lean Portfolio Management, Product Certifications preferred
